Cats in Guernsey need your help.
With more than 139 years of caring for animals in Guernsey, the GSPCA is growing to meet the demands of the modern world with enthusiasm, optimism and energy. The role now, as in those early days, of preventing cruelty and promoting kindness to animals, through education, is as strong as ever. So much is achieved - through qualified and dedicated staff, our own welfare officer, friends and supporters throughout the island.
The GSPCA has been helping cats in Guernsey since 1873 and they now need your help.
The current cattery has a number of issues due to the fact it is over 35 years old. We need your support to build a cattery that will enable us to help the 1000’s of cats that come through our doors every year.
From sick strays to cruelty complaints, every day cats arrive at the GSPCA Animal Shelter that need care and love. We also provide a quarantine unit in Guernsey which also needs rebuilding and has housed every thing from lions to monkeys to dogs, cats and more.
These cats now need you, the new cattery and quarantine unit will cost £1.3 million so please help support the GSPCA new build appeal.
Without your support, donations and legacies we wouldn't be able to help 1000's of animals every year.
Deacon was a young cat found as a stray with major dental problems and without your support and our members he may not have been with us today.
