Our next Volunteer Induction Evenings at the GSPCA are on Wednesday 9th and 30th September at 6.30pm.
All ages are welcome, but to help on site with the animals you have to be 14 years old or over.
Yvonne Chauvel Senior Animal care Assistant said "We have a wonderful team of volunteers that help us at the GSPCA and we always love to welcome those wanting to help."
"From gardening to answering the phone there is a job to help in many different ways on and off the Animal Shelter."
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "Volunteers help in so many ways at the GSPCA and it thanks to our amazing team that we achieve so much."
"We are currently looking to recruit additional volunteer wardens to help us provide weekend and night ambulance cover at the GSPCA."
"We are always keen to get involved those that want to help us here at the GSPCA and we are also looking for those that would like to help us on our front reception desk and with a bit of gardening around site."
"Earlier this year we had 91 individual volunteers helping over just 7 days which is just amazing and we are so thankful to all of them."
"We have Volunteer Inductions planned throughout 2015 with the next being held on Wednesday 9th September at 6.30pm."
