Quack, Quack and how are you quacking today?

It’s been another quack busy week with all sorts keeping the staff busy here.

They’ve asked me to quack you all that tomorrow Saturday 24th September you are invited to the Family Event of the summer, being held at The Indoor Cricket Centre & Hougue du Pommier Hotel Gardens.  It is Guernsey Mums 2nd Birthday, in association with LloydsTSB, with a Family Party at the Indoor Cricket Centre and the gardens of La Hougue du Pommier Hotel.  Sounds like great fun, if only I could go but I have to look after my friends here on the pond at the GSPCA

It starts at 12 noon and goes on until 5pm and staff and volunteers from the GSPCA will be there with an amazing range of cakes made by our volunteers, toys, mugs, dog treats, cat things and loads more.  There will also be loads of activities for the kids, from bouncy castles, trial sports tasters and facepainting....!

Quack, quack can believe it?  They also have exhibitions, a Fashion Show and refreshments which are available all afternoon. They have a huge Charity Raffle in aid of two local Charities, The Sunflower Trust - assisting bereaved families and St Martin's Church Giving Fund.

The main thing I need to quack and tell you is that you could win this bear who is all lonely and in need of a home.  The team will be selling raffle tickets at their stall so make sure you buy yours (but remember don’t give pets as presents).  They will also have a range of his little friends for sale all sporting the GSPCA jumpers.

Also pop by and meet Bernie the shelter mascot with little Katie the westie who lives at the shelter.

Well I have to quack love you and leave you.

Quack to you later
