New charity shop team appeal for help for a new floor in our onsite GSPCA Charity Shop

The on-site GSPCA Charity Shop has this month welcomed three new faces who will be helping to run the on site shop to raise much needed funds for the hundreds of animals in our care and the thousands we help each year.

We are currently appealing for a kind company to help put a floor into the shop area which has currently got bare concrete.

We are looking at options of vinyl tiles as we allow dogs to visit the shop and appealing for either a floor company to help or a kind donation to help floor our shop.

Joining the GSPCA shop team are Michelle Champion who will head the shop area and Hannah Lesbirel and Emma Topley.

Once the floor is in place the shop will be manned 7 days a week Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm with opening on some bank holidays.

We will also then have a till in the shop and a phone line to speak to the team as well as a corner where you can get a hot or cold drink and snack.

Michelle Champion GSPCA Charity Shop Supervisor said "Hannah, Emma and I are all very excited to be helping run the GSPCA Charity Shop as it helps raise funds to rescue and care for 1000's of animals every year."

"The great thing about the GSPCA Charity Shop is that you get to see the very animals you are helping by buying goods in the shop as you pass them to get to the shop."

"We are currently appealing for help to put a floor covering in the shop ideally of vinyl tiles or similar which is approximately just short of 15 by 5 metres and any help would be hugely appreciated."

"It would be amazing if a flooring company would help support us or we have had quotes of around £900-1000 if someone would like to donate towards this much needed project."

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "This month we have welcomed Hannah, Michelle and Emma into the team to help run the shop at the GSPCA."

"The Charity Shop area helps raise much needed funds at the GSPCA where we have over 400 animals in our care from Sami the seal pup to Paddy the bull terrier."

"We are currently appealing for help to put a floor down in our shop area and would love to hear from anyone that could help us with this much needed project."
