Stray blue budgie found on Ruette De Saumarez now at the GSPCA

On Thursday last week a stray blue budgie was found on Ruette De Saumarez and is now at the GSPCA.
Each year we help dozens of stray pet parakeets, parrots and finches at the GSPCA.
Sadly we rarely find the owners of the smaller birds and we are currently appealing for any information if you know of anyone that has lost a stray budgie.
Yvonne Chauvel Senior Animal Care Assistant said "Last Thursday we helped a stray budgie which we have named 'Blu'."
"We have seen many stray birds at the GSPCA through the summer over the last few months and there are many that we never find the owners for."
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "Thankfully Blu the stray budgie seems fine after escaping from his home."
"If you have lost a bird or know someone missing a budgie please do let us know."
