The GSPCA is the only all animal welfare organisation on Guernsey and without the support of the caring public thousands of animals each year would suffer.  The GSPCA receives dozens of calls every day and night 365 days a year through our 24 hour phone line.

Recently the phone system that the animal shelter had was getting extremely old and the shelter was concerned that if something wasn't done soon it could fail.

With running costs of all charities increasing every year and the increase in animal welfare work the GSPCA is experiencing we approached the Channel Island Christmas Lottery to help with this essential item and we are so grateful to them as this will help save animals lives and ensure that we can continue the much needed animal welfare work in Guernsey.

The grant we received enabled the animal shelter to replace the old system with a new one which is far more reliable and we have already seen an increase in calls.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager 'We are so grateful to the Christmas Lottery for the grant we received.'  'It is essential that the public can get through to us as animals lives depend on it.' 'We at the GSPCA would encourage everyone to go out and buy a ticket and support this very worthy cause.'
