In only 3 days on Saturday 1st September a very brave Lorna Prince who is the GSPCA Welfare Manager has decided to do something to help the many animals at the Shelter. Lorna is not keen on heights at all and even less keen of falling but she has signed up to jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet over Guernsey in a tandem Skydive.
Lorna is doing this to raise funds for the Shelter and she needs your support.
To sponsor Lorna please click here and pop reference 'Lorna skydive' so we can include it to her running total
Below are the outfits available so far and listed those that are currently sponsored. For a minimum of £100 sponsorship you or your business could be involved in a very fun, funny, fantastic, fund raiser to help animals in Guernsey. See below for more details as well as the suits ready now or pop in to the Shelter -

On Saturday we held our Fun Dog Show and Summer Fayre.
We say summer but unfortunately the heavens opened and it rained for most of the day. Despite the wet weather the show went ahead.
As we had to fit owners and dogs into the training room at the Shelter the decision had to be made to go from 13 classes to 1 big class which was judged by Channelonline presenter Rob Moore.
Over 50 dogs attended and Rob met each dog and chatted to all the owners. From chihuahuas to boxers, staffies to cross breeds, there were dogs of all shapes and sizes.
On Wednesday the 18th July a group of students from Les Beacamps High Year 10 are organising a biathlon to raise funds for the GSPCA Animal Shelter.
Andrew Wilkinson and friends Kieran Torode, Josh Tucker and Sam Le Ray will depart on bike from Vale Church and will ride to the Imperial Hotel. They will then walk the rest of the way to Jerbourg Point.
They plan to leave at 10am on Wednesday and are looking for your support to raise as much as possible for the GSPCA and are planned to get to their final destination at 3pm.
A week Saturday we have our Fun Dog Show & Summer Fayre at the GSPCA Animal Shelter.
We are appealing for donations of bric-a-brac, bottles, plants, raffle prizes, cakes and any items that can help us raise funds for the hundreds of animals in our care.
Whether you are a business, having a clear out in your attic or grown to many plants in your green house we need your support.
We are also looking for any volunteers to help on the day and if you are interested to please get in touch with the Shelter by calling 01481 257261 or email [email protected]
