The GSPCA are extremely proud of Hannah Lesbirel who won gold in the ladies 200m's last week at the Island Games in Gotland.

Hannah works mainly in the GSPCA Charity Shop and also helps in other areas of the Shelter, but last week took gold and first place on a windy day in an amazing 24.69 seconds.

From all at the GSPCA a huge well done to Hannah and we look forward greeting you back at the Shelter as a real champion of Guernsey.

Tomorrow night the GSPCA have a special evening at the Charity Shop as we launch the reopening of our Charity Shop area.

From 4pm until 8pm we have a late night opening and free BBQ with free drinks being served to show case an area you can now visit 7 days a week raising funds to help the 450+ animals in our care.

Michelle Champion GSPCA Charity Shop Supervisor said "A massive well done to Hannah who works at the GSPCA Charity Shop for winning gold in the Island Games 200m."

"Tomorow night we have our free late night BBQ event at the GSPCA Charity Shop from 4pm until 8pm and we hope to see you there to celebrate the re-opening of the Charity Shop with its new floor done thanks to the Work to Benefit team and so many kind donations."

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We are all extremely proud of Hannah at the GSPCA for winning gold in Gotland in the ladies 200m last week."

"Hannah works in our Charity Shop which is now manned 7 days a week and we have a special event tomorrow night and hope all can attend to see an areas helping the many animals in our care."
