Name:
Luna - Looking for her forever home!
Animal:
Rabbit
Breed:
Rex
Age:
6.5 years
More Info:
Luna is a middle aged rex rabbit, who is friendly and still loves a good run around. As we unfortunately don't know much about her past, we don't know of any prior health issues. We believe Luna may have something called 'Megacolon Syndrome' so her poo is a little different to most rabbits, and she can have occasional off days where her poo is worse and doesn't eat much, so this must be carefully monitored and managed daily.
She really, really enjoys her nuggets and spends most of her day relaxing.
She's also a bit sensitive around her face being touched as she needed a lot of medication when she first arrived.
She may be well suited going to a home with another rabbit, especially an older male, as we discovered that she spent her life with a male rabbit before she came to us. Alternatively, we think she would be content as a single bunny.
We believe she used to live in an outdoor home, but seems very happy indoors.
Luna has lived indoors for the past few years with us, so we think she would be best off as a house bunny, where it would also be easier to keep a close eye on her.
She would be best suited to an adult only household, who are experienced in owning rabbits with medical issues.
