Name:
Spud is looking for a very special home!
Animal:
Cat
Breed:
Domestic short hair
Age:
1 year and a half
More Info:
Spud is a confident, characterful boy looking for an indoor-only, adult-only home where he can enjoy life to the fullest.
He will need a large home or access to a secure catio, giving him plenty of space to explore, play, and relax safely.
Spud must be the only cat in the home, as he prefers not to share his space with other felines. He also isn't suitable for a home with children and will do best in a calm, predictable environment.
One of Spud's favourite things is dogs — he genuinely enjoys their company! However, his enthusiasm can sometimes be a little over the top, so any canine housemates will need regular breaks. For this reason, Spud will require his own room and/or catio, allowing everyone some downtime when needed.
Spud is an FHV-1 (feline herpesvirus) carrier, and as a result he has some scarring to his eyes. This is a lifelong condition but is manageable, and the team will be happy to discuss this further with prospective adopters.
With the right setup and understanding, Spud will make a fun, entertaining indoor companion with lots of personality.
