From all at the GSPCA we would like to thank Pushy Mums Buggy Workout (Guernsey).
The weekend before last the group of Mums held a very special sports day raising funds for Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation and the GSPCA.
Laurel Le Tocq from Pushy Mums Buggy Workout (Guernsey) said "The sun shone down on the first ever Pushy Mums Sports Day which took place last Saturday."
"The event raised £255 for charity."
On Friday 27th May many will remember an amazing evening which was had by 100's of islanders that sailed over to Herm for the evening for a fund raiser that was being organised thanks to those on Herm, the Mermaid Tavern and the wonderful Fade
Last Thursday GSPCA Animal Welfare and Education Officer Sarah Creasey popped along to the Wellbeing Fayre at the Grammar School with Mouse who was one of the Slovakian puppies rescued last year.

The hall was be split into five sections, each representing one part of the Five Ways to Wellbeing.
The team at the GSPCA were over joyed recently when the longest stay cat who is actually diabetic found her forever home.
Staff and volunteers all loved 'Monkey' a female tortie cat that arrived at the Animal Shelter in May 2015 after her owner could no longer care for her.
Whilst at the GSPCA we discovered she was in fact diabetic and it took many months to get her treatment and diet to the right levels.
Monkey has a loving and wonderful kind nature although she is on a special diet and requires injecting twice a day.
Yesterday the GSPCA had a lovely morning despite a wet start at the La Société Conservation Herd Car Boot Sale at Saumarez Park.
With a grey and damp start over 20 cars along with stalls from La Société Conservation Herd and food vendor Furze Oven.
The GSPCA took a stall which helped raise £100 for the animals in our care and La Société Conservation Herd appeared to have a great morning raising funds for the Guernsey cows they look after with their conservation work of which two of the young steers were present for visitors to meet.
On Saturday afternoon the GSPCA were called out to attend a very serious incident of an injured herring gull at Vazon.
The bird was being cared for by two teenagers who had spotted at a distance two similar aged male teenagers around 14 years throwing stones at the gull.
GSPCA Volunteer Ambulance Warden Michelle Champion attended to rescue the badly injured bird and the team were horrified to find the extent of the injury sustained to the animal.
Today Lily-Ella O’Brien was welcomed at the GSPCA for a behind the scenes tour as a way of thanks for the amazing donation she has given.
At her recent 7th birthday party instead of presents Lilly-Ella asked her friends to make donations instead of presents to help the animals at the GSPCA.
An amazing £200 was raised which Lily-Ella brought up this afternoon and after presenting it to the GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne he then gave her and her grand-mother a guided tour of the GSPCA Animal Shelter in St Andrews.
The GSPCA are hugely grateful to Ceva who support charities in so many ways and yesterday they published a news clip for Olivia the loggerhead turtle who is at the GSPCA.
The Cites documents are now in place to transport Olivia to Gran Canaria and the GSPCA whilst fund raising for her care and flight are working with a number of transporters to find the best route and ensure all transport legislation is met.
On Monday the GSPCA joined the fun and festivities of Lé Viaër Marchi in Saumarez Park.
Despite what had been a wet and grey day as the event drew closer the clouds thinned and rain stopped.
The GSPCA for a second year in a row joined the fabulous event and once again had a wonderful time.
GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne and volunteer Molly Phillips along with one of her friends ran what was once again a very popular stall raising funds for the many animals in our care at the GSPCA.
