Submitted by Steve on 14:11, 12th Aug, 2020 | 0

Can your team take the trophy off the Plough Inn?

Once again we will be holding a Giant Animal Mascot event as part of our Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday celebrations.

This is open to mascots and individuals prepared to dress as an animal and play a fun football game with a rather over sized ball.

We are asking businesses, pubs, individuals or anyone as a team of 5 or an individual and we can make extra teams on the day.

Don't worry about what to wear we will provide the Giant Animal Mascot suit and have over 70 available to choose from.

We are hugely grateful to the Plough Inn who are putting a team in for the Animal Mascot 5-a-side fun football, and there is still time to get your team together.

If you have any unwanted soft toys then please pop them up to the Shelter or if you need a vehicle to pick up quite a few then please let us know and we can arrange collection.

Vans & Volunteers needed to help put on our Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday on the 15th May and from this Friday

Submitted by Steve on 14:51, 11th May, 2016 | 0

This Sunday if you can help volunteer or have a vehicle you could help us transport goods we would love to hear from you.

We are planning to pack a number of vans in preparation this Friday ready to drive down for our Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday at 7.30am.

If you could lend a van, especially a luton or large transit we would really appreciate it.

Every year it is a huge logistical challenge to transport the many tents, goods and animals from the GSPCA into St Peter Port.
