On the 14th and 15th August the GSPCA were lucky enough to have help from KPMG staff.
In two groups the staff helped on site at the Animal Shelter in St Andrews and with the Stall at the West Show.
From cleaning out the Animals to dressing up as Giant Animals at the West Show the team from KPMG helped with all matters of tasks.
With nearly 300 animals at the Shelter, nearly 4 acres of grounds and the busiest time of year the team at the GSPCA are extremely thankful to the 16 strong group from KPMG who helped out over two full days.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said 'We have all sorts of volunteers that support and help the GSPCA but when a Business offers their help from a team of their staff it helps make a massive difference at the Shelter.'
'The amount of extra help the 16 staff gave to the Animal Shelter meant that there were so many things we were able to do and with the Summer being the busiest time we really appreciate everything the team of staff did from KPMG.'
'We have a dozens of areas where animals are kept, nearly 4 acres of land and we were at the West Show and the KPMG staff helped in all sorts of areas from the stall at the West Show to helping prepare bits for the Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday, mucking out to exercising animals, gardening to helping with admin work.'
'This is the second year staff from KPMG have helped at the Shelter and some have even helped out at the Shelter and fund raisers in their own time.'

Every Tuesday during term time between 10.30am and 12pm at the GSPCA we have a coffee morning with bric-a-brac and pet supplies on sale (free entry) also guided tours at £5 per person minimum donation available at 11am. Please click here for more details
Wednesday 4th September 6.30pm - Volunteer Induction Evening at the Animal Shelter
Car Boot Sale at Alliance Car Park with M.E.N.F.U.N Sunday morning on the 6th October
Art Exhibition of Art Work from Mark Bayliss at the GSPCA Animal Shelter 19th October until 24th October - Free Entry but donations welcomed - 9am - 6pm with a few late evening openings planned
Art Auction at St Pierre Park Hotel Thursday 24th October Sponsored by the Heritage Group. Starts 7.45pm. If you book a meal at the Victor Hugo Restaurant at the St Pierre Park Hotel then a donation from every meal will be made to the GSPCA. Also the Pavilion will be opening on the evening with their Tennerfest menu and they too are donating proceeds from each meal to the GSPCA.
