Yesterday Inca the husky at the GSPCA in Guernsey popped along to Isabelle Vets for a very important donation.

After an appeal that a dog required blood at Isabelle Vets the GSPCA asked if Inca the husky would be suitable.

Inca was transported to the vets yesterday and fortunately she was a match.

Sheryl Carre Animal Care Assistant and GSPCA Dog Trainer said 'Inca is a real star and it is wonderful that she was able to help another dog by giving blood.'

'Inca is a star in more ways than one as she has been walked around St Peter Port, been on BBC radio and she was even the model for the recent dog first aid course at the Animal Shelter.'

'When she came back from the vets she had a lovely doggy bag full of treats and a lovely note from the team at Isabelle Vets.'

'What Inca really needs is to find a new home and being a husky a very special one at that.'

'She's not great with cats and small animals and being a big dog ideally a home without small children.'

'She is like a big teddy bear and often chats by snapping her teeth together.'Inca the first aid husky dog at the GSPCA in Guernsey

Inca the husky said 'Snap, snap, snap, snap.'

Which translated means 'The staff at Isabelle Vets were lovely and I'm glad I could help by giving blood.'

'I love the team at the GSPCA but would really like to find my forever home.'

A lovely note from Isabelle Vets said 'Thank you very much Inca, love from everyone at Isabelle Vets. P.s you were very brave!'

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said 'At the GSPCA we are always happy to help animals in need and if ever your pet needs blood please do give us a call.'

'Inca is a stunning husky and after being such a brave girl we would love to find her a forever home.'
