Another happy forever home for a GSPCA cat.

Almost 2 months ago Bronx a tabby male cat was brought into the GSPCA with no microchip and no owner found.

After his 21 days at the GSPCA in line with the new Animal Welfare Law, an assessment, vet treatment and checks the lovely friendly cat found a new home.

Bronx who is now called 'Hugo' is doing very well and his new owners informed us today with the following words  "We thought you would like to know that Hugo who was Bronx has settled in well to his new home. "

"As you can see he loves stretching out in front of the fire."

"We are so happy to share our home with him as he is such an affectionate lad who loves lots of attention, but is also happy to have some quiet moments on his own."

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "It is lovely to hear the happy moments of how we have helped animals as we often see distressing and upsetting sights at the GSPCA."

"Although Bronx wasn't with us for long at the GSPCA he was a lovely friendly cat and it is great to see him doing so well."

"Sadly there are many more animals in need at the GSPCA from those needing new homes to Rubis the cat who needs vet treatment and tests."

"There are many ways to support our work and becoming an Angel Pen Pal Sponsor is a way to give regularly to the animals in our care."

"The buildings where we keep our cats are now getting on in years and we are currently fund raising for our new multi-purpose animal welfare building which is well under way and we are appealing for individuals and businesses to join us and become a Build Partner and if you are interested we would love to hear from you."
