Hanois and Jethou Bumblebee update - Big Fish Appeal

We are pleased to report that both Hanois and Jethou Bumblebe the rescued grey seal pups are recovering well.
Jethou Bumblebee who has been cared for at the GSPCA for just over 9 weeks has doubled his original weight and looking very healthy.
Hanois who was rescued early this year is also putting on weight and his chest infection is much improved.
Both seals are on solid fish with their preference being mackerel or herring. We are still appealing for donations towards helping feed the fish and if you can help please donate online below, pop in or please get in touch on 01481 257261.
Geoff George who has been caring for the pups said 'We're really pleased with their progress but with this cold weather we can't release them for at least another 8 weeks.'
'Jethou Bumblebee is out on the pool most days although with the snow on Friday we did keep him in.'
'Hanois was really not well when we rescued him but I am pleased with his progress so far.'
'They both have a really healthy appetite but we are grateful for all donations towards helping feed these stunning seal pups.'
