With days left to view the Guernsey Puffin Parade at their 60 locations the GSPCA and Autism Guernsey are preparing to collect the wonderful painted puffins to prepare them for the BIG Auction.

From next Tuesday the team will be collecting all 60 Puffins from around Guernsey ahead of the auction.

The auction takes place at St Pierre Park Hotel on Tuesday 12^th September at 630pm tickets are now on sale.

Tickets are £15 each and include a glass of prosecco or orange juice and canapes will be served.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager “We have had such amazing feedback about the Guernsey Puffin Parade and the next week we start netting the giant puffins in the last rescue before they go up for Auction at St Pierre Park on the 12^th September at 630pm.”

“Today we are at the North Show and on sale have the quiz sheets and the raffle tickets to be drawn on the night.”

“From the GSPCA and Autism Guernsey, to the sponsors, the artists, web developers, local businesses and so many more there have been so many that have made this incredible event come together and with the Auction a month away this will be the first time all 60 Puffins will be able to be seen in one place all completed.”

Mandy Rowlinson at Autism Guernsey Manager said “Puffin Auction tickets are now on sale but there is limited space.”

“If you are unable to attend the puffin auction but would still like to put in a bid, you can find a commission bid form on our website www.puffinparade.org.gg .”

“Please note that payment must be made before collecting the puffin and all puffins must be collected from St. Pierre Park by noon on Wednesday 13th September.”

“A member of staff will advise you after the auction on the 12th September if you bid has been successful.”

Steve continued “We are having great fun at the North Show with volunteers from Northern Trust and as well as the Puffin Parade quiz sheets and raffles tickets today we have some great new items on sales celebrating our 150 years.”

“From our new range of Bucket Hats for just £10 to 150 year pens, 150 year sports vests to 150 year polo tops, our stunning 150 year pin badge and so much more.”

“We have the 150 year Ball on the 30^th September and tables are selling fast so do get in touch as well as our BIG BUILD Appeal, there is so much going on, and as mentioned do not forget this is the last weekend of the Puffin Parade before the Auction on the 12^th September where you can see all 60together for the first time since they were delivered to Guernsey.”
