Next Sunday (13th September) if you can help volunteer or have a vehicle you could help us transport goods we would love to hear from you.

We are planning to pack a number of vans in preparation this Friday ready to drive down for our Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday from 7am.

If you could lend a van, especially a luton or large transit we would really appreciate it.

Every year it is a huge logistical challenge to transport the many tents, goods and animals from the GSPCA into St Peter Port.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We are so grateful to all that have put their names and vehicles forward to help next weekend and we would love to hear from others that can help for our big day which is our ninth Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday."

"We ideally like to have everything packed Friday ready for the Sunday and if anyone would like to help next Friday with preparations or on the day please do get in touch."

"If there is anyone with a Luton Van, large transit or similar we would really like to their help over this our busiest weekend of the year."

"It is amazing how many people help and support each year and thank you to each and every one from all at the GSPCA and especially the animals."

"The Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday is packed full of events and things for family and pets and helps celebrate and raise funds to help animals in Guernsey."

“With huge challenges on our resources and a drop in income from boarding and donations this day is hugely important to raise much needed funds and  you can donate anytime to our #GSPCACoronavirusCrisisAppeal by going to https://giving.gg/donate/event/5876/GSPCA-Coronavirus-Emergency-Appeal .”

“We also have a Wish List full of items and plans which can be seen by going to http://www.gspca.org.gg/about/our-plans-wish-list .”
