Today is World Lizard Day and at the GSPCA we have 10 in our care.
There are 9 Bearded Dragons and 1 Moroccan Eyed Lizard currently in our care needing support and 9 in need of new homes.

“They are exotic pets so you need the right setup and knowledge to look after them but they can make great pets if you know what you are doing and prepared to give them the care that they need.”
“We have seen a huge increase in exotic pets in recent years and have many other types like snakes and turtles in need of homes.”
Beckie Bailey GSPCA Animal Care Assistant said “We have many reptiles in need of homes at the GSPCA and especially lizards.”
“We have Hilary, Hope, Louise, Matteo, Mr Thatch, Nigel, Savannah and Sydney the Bearded Dragons and Wilma the Moroccan Eyed Lizard."
“We are open 11am to 4pm for those looking to adopt an animal 7 days a week or call 257261 for more details.”
