Pablo is a brown medium sized male dog with a deformed front paw with no collar, who went missing last week.

Pablo was last seen between St Peter Port and St Martins in the Val des Terres/Fort George/Morley Chapel area.

He is extremely nervous and the GSPCA would like to remind everyone that any sightings, please do not chase or try to catch him but immediately call the GSPCA on 01481 257261 or the owner Catherine on 07781459817 who he is bonded with and will come to her when called.

Pablo is a Spanish rescue dog and although he has been sighted a number of times over the last week the GSPCA do not recommend that groups go out in search as this could scare him from the area where he has settled and we are in hope that the trap we have now set and regularly check will help in his capture.

We know he has already approached the trap but this can take time with any dog and especially one that may well be have some street knowledge.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “We are all doing all we can to help Pablo be reunited with owner.”

“Over the weekend we set our trap and the team are checking it day and night and we know he has approached it.”

“Trying to catch a nervous rescue dog can be extremely challenging and we are asking for sightings to be reported immediately to ourselves on 257261 or the owner Catherine on 07781459817.”

“We don’t want him to run off from the area that he has settled and therefore asking people to not go out chasing or trying to catch him as this will very likely unsettle him and scare him away.”
