Felix arrived at the GSPCA Animal Shelter in October in 2011 and has been at the Shelter for well over a year which makes her the longest stay cat in need of a new home. Many of you will know of Victor a cat who also came in around the same time and we are pleased to say he is off to a new home very soon.

Unfortunately Felix came in as a 3 year old semi-feral and as such was extremely nervous and timid after her bad start in life.

Although Felix is a little more confident and tolerates some staff and volunteers, what she really needs is a farm or stable type home as she much prefers her own space.

She doesn't seem to enjoy time with other animals but in a farm or stable yard we think she may be a little better, but she does nee her own space.

Anna Carre Senior Animal Care Assistant said 'Felix looks so sweet but she really needs a home with her own space.'  'We often get feral cats come into the Shelter and we are always looking for farm and stable yard owners to come forward that are able to help these timid cats.'  'No matter where you are in the Bailiwick if you think you can help please get in touch with us here at the GSPCA.'
