After 10 years of service, a wonderful vehicle that was sponsored by Carey Olsen has had to retire and we are appealing for funds or a donation of a GSPCA Animal Welfare Electric Ambulance Van and Charging Point.
The GSPCA are called out to and investigate over 2000 calls or incidents of concerns of animal welfare every year 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
The GSPCA is striving to be as green as possible and we do our best for the environment and we would love to replace the retiring vehicle with a much more eco electric model and we are appealing for support.

She was worried that the GSPCA would not be able to help the animals so she decided to do something about it.
Guy Hardill had never never swum in sea until 5 weeks ago and last night night on the wettest and coldest of days of his entire training he undertook a challenge he never thought he could do.
On the 3rd June Guy will swam the Havelet Bay circuit in an amazing 55 minutes.
This swim included going from the Bathing Pools to Castle, then back across red buoy, the M and back in to where he started.

The current pandemic has caused many challenges at the GSPCA as it has with everyone and across the world and we are incredibly thankful to all that have helped us with our #GSPCACoronavirusCrisisAppeal so far it is so appreciated and we couldn’t do so much without your support.
As well as much needed funds at the GSPCA there are a range of items we are desperately in need of. The largest is wish list item is a new GSPCA Animal Ambulance. Which has come at the worst time as we are so incredibly busy in Spring
Today is World Unicorn Day and what better day to launch this wonderful opportunity.
After hearing of our plea for help with fund raising for GSPCA during the Covid-19 crisis, Becky Rowe Jewellery contacted us offering to donate one of her Sterling Silver ”Luna” Unicorn Pendants.
We are now offering you the chance to enter our draw to be the lucky winner.
The GSPCA are hugely grateful to Phoebe who has decided to raise funds to help the many animals at the GSPCA.
Phoebe will be writing lots of stories to raise money for GSPCA because she loves animals and really wants to help them.
Phoebe said "My name is Phoebe Copperwaite and I am 7 years old."
"Three of the things I love the most are reading, writing and animals."
"I spend hours at home writing stories and keep asking Mummy and Daddy to get them published so that I can sell them and use the money raised to help animals in need."
Yesterday GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne met with the Chairman of the Association of Guernsey Charities Peter Rose and the wonderful volunteers behind charity.gg volunteer.gg and the newly launched giving.gg
The reason for the invite was to help with the media launch of this wonderful new website that will help local charities have a free way to generate donations and appeals online.
