Thanks to Guernsey Post, Donkey Logic and Colour Monster leaflets were dropped around Guernsey yesterday to promote our fund raising appeal to help raise funds for a new Wildlife Hospital here in Guernsey.
With over 2000 wild animals through our doors every year we help more wild animals than domestic every year and with the current facilities decades old and in desperate need of repairs and updating the GSPCA are appealing for your support to build a better future for the wildlife of Guernsey.
There are a number of ways you can help donate to this much needed project –
The Guernsey nominations are open for the Guernsey Post Customer Service Awards.
Now in their fifth year, the Guernsey Post Customer Service Awards are dedicated to recognising those on Guernsey, Alderney, Herm and Sark who consistently excel in putting their customers first.
Last year GSPCA team member Helen Holmes was awarded the 'Humble Volunteer of the Year' and we were all very proud of her.
You can vote now and nominations close on Friday 19th June, and the shortlisted finalists will be announced soon afterwards.
PUBLIC CATEGORIES
Millions of people, young and old, are stamp collectors (philatelists), and philately is an educational and fun hobby.
Couple this with helping animals in Guernsey, keeping stamps out of landfill and instead recycling stamps to collectors.
At the GSPCA we collect used postage stamps to raise money for the many animals we rescue, help and care for.
