On Easter Saturday 40 dogs, their owners and a team of volunteers took part in a sponsored walk to help two Guernsey charities.

Sponsored by the Pet Cabin and supported by Island FM the event helped raise funds for the GSPCA and Help a Guernsey Child.

The walk took place at 9.30 in the morning starting at North Beach and finishing at the Bridge.

Guernsey Electricity’s charity calendar supporting the GSPCA and on sale now

Guernsey Electricity’s annual calendar has gone on sale with all proceeds going to the GSPCA. The calendar will feature views of the island as captured by Guernsey Electricity employees.

The stunning images were submitted as part of a competition for staff to show off their creative talents.

We would like to thank Michelle Champion from The Good Food Group who runs Pelicans at Kings and Fillers in Smith Street for joining the GSPCA Purple Week.

Both Fillers and Pelicans at Kings now have a selection of GSPCA Counter Boxes and if you are passing please pop in to say hello to Michelle and her team and check out the GSPCA goods on offer.

In many of the locations you will see a limited edition GSPCA Pin Badge on a commemorative backing to celebrate our 140th year which are only £2 and if your business, office or school are interested please do get in touch.

The Pet Cabin join in with GSPCA Purple Week - only a few days to go.......

With GSPCA Purple Week and our 140th Birthday only a few days away the GSPCA are asking for your help.

We now have a selection of counter boxes with GSPCA goods to help raise funds for animals in Guernsey with a number of local businesses involved and The Pet Cabin are the latest to join in.

There are two kinds of boxes one being a £1 which has either GSPCA Purple Wristbands or GSPCA Pens or a £2 box with either GSPCA Pin Badges, GSPCA Key-rings or Little Labrador's in them.
