This Saturday whilst volunteers collect around Guernsey for the GSPCA Flag Day Lorna Prince the GSPCA Animal Welfare Manager is jumping out of a plane to raise funds to help animals in Guernsey.

Lorna Prince said "I am the Welfare Manager at the GSPCA and see how hard the Charity, it's volunteers and staff work to help wild and domestic animals in the Channel Islands."

"The GSPCA is supported wholly by donations and does not receive any State's funding."

On Saturday the 1st September GSPCA Animal Welfare Manager jumped out of a plane to raise funds to help animals in Guernsey.

Lorna was the first to jump out of a plane on Saturday with Skydive Jersey and landed to a fantastic crowd at the West Show Ground in L'Eree.

Lorna who is scared of heights and of falling beat her fears to help animals in Guernsey

In only 3 days on Saturday 1st September a very brave Lorna Prince who is the GSPCA Welfare Manager has decided to do something to help the many animals at the Shelter.  Lorna is not keen on heights at all and even less keen of falling but she has signed up to jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet over Guernsey in a tandem Skydive.

Lorna is doing this to raise funds for the Shelter and she needs your support.
