A variety of animals from the GSPCA Animal Shelter will be living in Castle Cornet for a day to celebrate World Animal Day.

We remember the animals who have played a part in history by living in the Castle, there will be interactive talks on animal welfare, children’s activities and ‘pet passports’ for children to collect stamps for different animals they see.

Young children are welcome to bring their cuddly toy animals for a special photo opportunity.

The GSPCA will have a number of games and tombolas to help raise funds for the Shelter and also Sarnia Guinea Pig Rescue will be there with a display and a few of their cute animals.

The event starts at 10am and is on throughout the day until 5pm.

We are looking for volunteers to help on the day and if you would like to be involved please call 01481 257261 or email [email protected]
