We are appealing for donations of bric-a-brac, tomdola prizes, raffle prizes and more importantly gifts for the Shelter animals for their Christmas presents.

On Saturday 17th December between 11am and 3.30pm we are holding a small Christmas Fayre at the Animal Shelter.  We need your help to fill the stalls so that we can give the animals in our care a wonderful Christmas through the money it will raise.

On the day you will get to see our mascot Bernard the dog.  Santa will also make an appearance with a very special animal that enjoys carrots, that’s all we can tell you at this time.

If you can help in any way with donations, cakes, prizes or help, please get in touch with the Animal Shelter on 01481 257261 or email [email protected]

The Shelter is always grateful for any donations and we are always after food for the animals.  At the moment we are extremely full of cats, rabbits and hedgehogs, but don’t forget we have birds, guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, mice, ducks, dogs and many more, all in our care that need feeding and looking after.

Next time your shopping why not get an extra bag or tin of food and drop it in to the Shelter.  You can support us by buying your pet supplies from the Shelter Shop where we have a range of pet and GSPCA goods.

Thank you for your support, just reading this means you care.
