We are pleased to annouce a further two days selling the Guernsey grown Christmas tree's from their field this weekend.

From 10am until 4pm on Saturday and Sunday you can come into the privately owned field and chose your very own Christmas tree.

They are located as you drive through the traffic lights by Oatlands heading towards St Sampsons the field is a few hundred yards along on the right opposite Braye du Valle House.

We will sign post the field so you can clearly see it and GSPCA volunteers will be on hand to help.

Please do take care when coming in and out of the entrance.

Don't forget we can deliver and we continue to sell the trees from the Shelter and our stall in town this week on Thursday and Saturday.

If you can bring your own tools that will help, but we will have a selection available to use.

We can announce once again if you have an Island Mums card and show it to the team you can get a £5 discount.

The trees are on sale now at the GSPCA and we still have a small number of wonderful local Christmas trees that have been grown on island for the last 8 years.

On sale from £25 upwards all money raised will go towards replanting new trees for the future and the majority towards the GSPCA and helping animals in Guernsey.

They are blue spruces which is a top end tree which look fantastic and don't drop their needles.

Also being grown here in Guernsey mean they are as fresh as you can get and an xtremely low carbon foot print.

All trees are 8 years old grown in Guernsey thanks to Henry Browne we are over joyed to help bring the festive season into homes this year.

The first tree was sold to Helen Holmes wholoved it and over the last week dozens of islanders have bouht their tree's raising the GSPCA well over £1300 so far and rising as well as helping towards replanting more trees for the future.

Helen Holmes said "It's so lovely to have a locally grown Christmas tree and to be able to help the GSPCA."

"They all look great and we are hoping to raise lots more funds for the GSPCA this Saturday and Sunday from the field and in the run up to Christmas at the Shelter where we have a lovely selction and our stalls at a number of events."

  • Under 4 feet - £45 min. donation
  • Under 5 feet - £55 min. donation

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We are so thankful to Henry Browne who has grown these wonderful Christmas trees and donated them to help us raise funds for the GSPCA."

"Mat, Jen and I had a wonderful day on Sunday selling dozens of trees raising over £1300 for the GSPCA and we are hoping to raise lots more with the many amazing tree's that are left."

"We have bought a 5 foot tree ourselves and it looks amazing and is a little bit of Guernsey in our front room and the kids love it."

"We will be in the field on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 4pm and this is a unique opportunity as Blue Spruces are slow growing and is a once in a child's chance here in Guernsey."

"Don't forget we can deliver so you can order by calling 01481 257261, email me or let us know by popping in."
