This Christmas Day we had signed up Steve Byrne, Lorna Prince and Joanne Fox undertaking a dip in the sea WITHOUT a wet suit!!!  That's right a Polar Bear Swim in the sea on Christmas Day, they must be crazy!!!

We now have even more crazy swimmers!!!  Geoff George, Tony Gallie, Annabelle Janes and Martin Smith have also agreed to brave the cold waters on Christmas Day in aid of the Animal Shelter.  You will easily be able to spot our crazy swimmers as they will be sporting polar bear hats.

If you are interested in jumping in and raising much needed money for the Shelter then please get in touch.  These brave souls have not confirmed whether they will have a swim or if they will just jump in and out but either way they will be giving up their Christmas morning to help the work of the GSPCA.

The Polar Bear Swim takes place at the Havelet Bathing Pools on Christmas Day at 10am and the GSPCA would really appreciate your support as they take the plunge.

All monies raised will be donated towards much needed refurbishment of the wildlife unit for the rehabilitation of the Islands’ hedgehogs and birds.

Please call into the Shelter and sign the sponsership form in Reception or donate online via PayPal

Thank you.
