On Saturday 11th and 18th August GSPCA volunteers were out collecting for the many animals at the GSPCA.

On the 11th volunteers were outside Marks and Spencer stores and on the 18th volunteers were dotted around Guernsey for our main annual flag collection.

A huge thanks must go to the main organisor Michelle Champion and also to all of the amazing volunteers, their children and their dogs who were out raising funds to help those animals in need at the GSPCA.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “A massive thanks has to go to Michelle and all the amazing volunteers that have busy collecting for the many animals at the GSPCA.”

“We are exceptionally busy currently and with over 500 animals in our care every penny helps make a huge difference.”

“We currently have 3 events we are looking for helpers to volunteer this month those being selling raffle tickets at Le Friquet Garden Centre on Saturday 9th September, our flag day at Alliance on Saturday 29th September and at the Peter Rabbit event at Beau Cinema on Sunday 30th September and if anyone can help please call 257261 or email [email protected] .”

“If anyone is looking to help volunteer at the GSPCA this Monday at 630pm we have the next induction evening and all are welcome.”

If you would like to help at one of our upcoming events or book a table at our Ball please give Michelle a call on 257261 or email [email protected]
