Guernsey Press feature Bengi the oldest dog in need of a home at the GSPCA - don't forget Friday is Take Your Dog to Work Day

Last week we had a visit from Guernsey Press reporter Helen Devonshire who got to meet Bengi the oldest dog in need of a home at the GSPCA.
Helen was visiting as the Guernsey Press were kindly doing an article to try and help find Bengi a new and loving home.
GSPCA kennel staff Teresa Mourant and Seb Goman had the privilege to show Helen one of their favourite dogs currently in our care.
Teresa said "We all love Bengi at the GSPCA as he is such a character."
"It was really nice meeting Helen and we hope to find Bengi a home very soon as he really needs a retirement and loving home."
Seb said "I love going in and making a fuss of Bengi and I have some fab pictures of him."
"He really deserves a loving home at his age of 13 and we would love to hear from anyone interested."
Lorna Prince GSPCA Welfare Manager said "Bengi is a lovely old man in desperate need of a new human companion for cuddles and tummy rubs."
"Bengi hates being left on his own and would love a home with someone around most of the time to keep him company."
"Bengi likes playing with his tennis balls and is a very sweet dog."
"He would love a retirement home where he can lie in the sun and enjoy some afternoon snoozes."
"For anyone interested please contact the Shelter for more details."
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We currently have over 450 animals in our care and around 100 are pet species ready and in need of homes like Bengi."
"The older animals always struggle to find a home and we are so grateful to Guernsey Press for featuring this lovely lad."
"This Friday is Bring Your Dog to Work Day so if you have a pet why not instead of a mufti day take your four legged friend and help raise funds for the GSPCA."
