Last week we held a series of guided tours around the GSPCA.

Each school break at the GSPCA we have planned guided tours, but you can book one off trips by contacting us at the GSPCA.

The school break trips we charge a minimum donation of £5 an adult and £3 per child and for a family of 4 it is only £15.

If you would like to book an exclusive trip we ask for a minimum donation of £40 for a group up to 8 and an additional £5 per person for larger groups.

Tours take around 80 minutes and it is your chance to see behind the scenes at the GSPCA.

Last week visitors got to meet Pepper the turkey, our 5 resident tortoise, Midge Widge and Fidge the baby hoglets or hedgehogs, Storm the mastiff cross and may more animals in our care.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "Last week our team each day showed groups around the site and behind the scenes at the Animal Shelter in St Andrews."

"During Spring we are always very busy and the visitors got to see lots of young animals and even had the chance to help feed some of them."

"We have trips booked in throughout the year and we will also take exclusive bookings and please do get in touch if you are interested."

Some comments from our facebook page:
