Last Tuesday Barbara Keywood from the JSPCA popped in to say hello and have a tour of the Shelter.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager greeted Barbara last week to show the member of staff from the JSPCA the work we do and plans for the future.

Barbara Keywood said “Thank you so much for the tour on Tuesday, it was amazing looking around and chatting to you.”

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “It was lovely to chat to and show around Barbara from the JSPCA last week.”

“Over the last couple of years we have started working with the Jersey British Divers Marine Life Rescue helping them with their seals like Sami who was returned back to Jersey last year.”

“Both the GSPCA and JSPCA are members of the Association of Cats and Dogs Home which is an organisation that believes that we are ‘stronger together for cats and dogs’ which is true for other species and we are always looking to work with others.”

“This year the Guernsey Bee Keepers joined us here at the GSPCA and with bees now endangered it is wonderful to be working with them.”

"We work with many other organisations and some will be at the GSPCA tomorrow to talk to the Floral judging panel about our conservation work at the GSPCA."

"This Saturday we team up with Grow for a fun day and will be at two other events the EV Expo and Picnic in the Park."

“Later this month we will be holding guided tours for a chance to see behind the scenes and please call 257261 if you would like to book your place.”
