Once again the GSPCA had two very special visitors from St Sampsons High School.

Kate Zierlinger and her friend Cerys Collins popped in to share with the team at the Animal Shelter.

Kate and Cerys said "The 2017 Channel Islands Business Challenge came to a close last night and we are so incredibly proud to announce that K&C Crafts were awarded the prize for Overall Winner!."

Thank wanted to pass on their thanks to their parents (aka taxi service), their school mentor Mrs Wallace who sorted out our social media and their business mentor Andrew Feehan plus of course their amazing customers who supported them.

The young ladies continued "It has been great experience."

"We are also overjoyed to say that we raised £172 for the GSPCA!"

"We'd like to say a massive thank you for being extremely helpful, supportive and always helping promote our product."

"Also a big thank you to the lovely ladies in the reception for looking after and taking in our box of pebbles."

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "It is amazing that Kate and Cerys have done so well and even won the Channel Islands Student Business Challenge and also choosing to raise funds for the GSPCA with their project and business K+C Crafts."

"It was lovely to see the young ladies today who popped to to donate an amazing £172.93p to help the many animals in our care."

"We have nearly 500 animals in our care and every penny helps make a real difference helping the baby birds to the many guinea pigs in our care."

"A huge thank you to Cerys and Kate and of course to all that supported and helped them."
