With another wonderful year coming to a close there is one more chance to join the GSPCA as a volunteer.
On Wednesday 26th November at 630pm at the Shelter in St Andrews we will be holding the final volunteer induction evening of the year.
To help on site with the animals you have to be 14 years or over but all ages are welcome as we are always looking for fund raisers.
No need to reserve a place all we ask is that you are at the GSPCA a little before 6.30pm.
The session involves a short talk which will be with GSPCA staff member Emma Trousdale and her dog Max. This takes around an hour and is all about our history, what we do and how to work safely on site.
After this short talk, you then get a chance to chat to GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne to arrange a start day and time.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We have an amazing team of volunteers here at the GSPCA and we are always looking to welcome others to the team."
"You don't have to commit, you are very welcome if you would like to come along and find out a little more about what we do here at the GSPCA."
"It's not just caring for the many animals here at the Shelter we are always looking for volunteers to help on reception, fund raising, gardening and like Annie the Shit-zu we sometimes need helpers to judge poster competitions."
"This will be our 11th and final volunteer induction evening of 2014, but we have already planned a full year of dates for 2015."
