Thursday last week the GSPCA team were joined by 8 volunteers from  Northern Trust who gave up a day in the office to help the team at the Animal Shelter in St Andrews with all sorts of jobs.

The staff from Northern Trust arrived at 9am where they had a quick induction with GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne before they were set to work around site.

The Northern Trust worked extremely hard around site mucking out, walking the dogs, socialising the cats and rabbits, feeding baby birds and were a fantastic help.

Those that helped were Jane Le Tissier, Charlotte Le Cras, Sophie Warren, Sharon Latter, Lindsay Guilbert, Dean Torode and Shanine Johns.

Before the group left they had a behind the scenes tour and all got a thank you certificate.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "The team of 8 staff from Northern Trust were a fantastic help at the GSPCA last Thursday."

"All of the team at the GSPCA really enjoyed the Northern Trust staff helping out and we are extremely grateful for all of their help."

"This is the first of three days staff from Northern Trust are coming along to help at the GSPCA and this is the second year they have come along to help us out at the Animal Shelter."

"We are so lucky to have caring businesses like Northern Trust that allow their staff to help in the community."

From all at the GSPCA a huge thank you to all at Northern Trust.
