The GSPCA would lie to say a huge thank you and good luck to Andrew Alford who is running the Matterhorn Ultra in aid of the Shelter and animals in our care.

Andrew Alford said "So the what am I doing."

"One hungover Sunday a few months ago I decided to run a marathon, not keen on road running I thought I’d do something different and stumbled on the Matterhorn Ultra."

"Having a slightly fuzzy head I didn’t really read up on it, just entered and paid my money."

"Turns out on the 20th August I’m off to Zermatt in Switzerland to run 48km (29.8miles) round the Matterhorn, add to that there’s 3600m (11,800ft) of Ascent, or as I stupidly worked out the equivalent of running up the Valde Terres (for locals) 37.5 times."

"But the sceneries nice!!!!"

"I’m raising funds for the GSPCA again, it’s a really good hard working local charity and any money raised goes to the charity and not to any of my expenses."
