Earlier this month a team of staff from Specsavers spent the day helping St Andrews Floral Group volunteers at the GSPCA.

Over the last few years we have received many groups from Specsavers helping at the Animal Shelter in St Andrews from animal care to maintenance.

Specsavers staff Lois Rawlings, Abi Wilkins, Steve Le Prevost, Martin Donaghy, Ashleigh Gibson, Kyle Fossey and Heather Legg teamed up with St Andrews Floral Group Volunteer and GSPCA Vice President Tom Le Pelley as well as others to help with the pond, grounds work and planting around site.

Ann Wragg Group Leader from St Andrews Floral Group said "Thank you to all the team who helped at the GSPCA."

"A huge amount was achieved and we are very grateful for all your assistance."

"Around 5000 bulbs were planted around the grounds and it will look stunning in Spring."

Yvonne Chauvel Senior Animal Care Assistant said "We had another really lovely group of staff from Specsavers helping at the GSPCA earlier this month."

"They did a fantastic job helping around the site at the Animal Shelter and we are looking forward to the Spring bulbs in the New Year."

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "The 7 staff from Specsavers were fantastic and a huge thank you from all at the GSPCA."

"St Andrews Floral Group have performed wonders at the GSPCA over the last 18 months and with the help from others like Specsavers helped transorm the grounds to a wonderful place to visit and enjoy for us and the wildlife that lives in St Andrews."

"We have a number of projects with St Andrews Floral Group we are trying to acheive and to find out more please do get in touch."

"There are so many ways businesses can help from time to supporting our new build, advertising in our quarterly newsletter to sponsoring a kennel."

"A huge thank you to to all the team and for all of their hard work and also to Specsavers for allowing the team to come and help."
