On Wednesday the 18th July a group of students from Les Beacamps High Year 10 are organising a biathlon to raise funds for the GSPCA Animal Shelter.

Andrew Wilkinson and friends Kieran Torode, Josh Tucker and Sam Le Ray will depart on bike from Vale Church and will ride to the Imperial Hotel.  They will then walk the rest of the way to Jerbourg Point.

They plan to leave at 10am on Wednesday and are looking for your support to raise as much as possible for the GSPCA and are planned to get to their final destination at 3pm.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager ‘It is heart warming when we are approached by anyone who would like to raise funds for the Shelter.’  ‘Andrew contacted us last week to say that he’d like to hold this biathlon for the GSPCA and we are hoping for good weather for them.’ ‘We have a sponsor form on the reception desk, you can donate over the phone or online to help them raise lots to help the hundreds of animals in our care.’

"Seems like we may be leaving a little earlier than expected. Apparently we need to check in with the teacher by 9:15."
