At the GSPCA we are normally appealing for homes for animals, but we are currently appealing for your unwanted soft toys.
The cuddly toys we are appealing for will found good homes as prizes on some of our games to help raise funds for the Shelter such as our upcoming Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday.
If you have any unwanted soft toys then please pop them up to the Shelter or if you need a vehicle to pick up quite a few then please let us know and we can arrange collection.
The staff and volunteers at the GSPCA are deeply saddened by the passing of our Monarch, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II who was well known for her love of animals and particularly her beloved dogs, as well as her Patronage of the RSPCA.
In respect of this sad time the GSPCA have decided to postpone our Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday which was due to take place this weekend.
Once again there will be a fun dog show at the Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday.
Judging starts at 1230pm with registration from 11am with the show ring located on the Crown Pier.
This is always a fabulous, fun, highlight of this special day and is open to any breed of dog.

Today we held our 10th Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday and we would like to say a HUGE thanks to all involved and supported what was a fantastic day.
We saw hundreds of dogs and between 8 and 10,000 visitors on what was a fun packed day.
With over 100 stalls, things to do and see, the sun shining the GSPCA would like to say a huge thanks to all that supported and were involved.

With less than 2 weeks to go, the GSPCA are busy preparing for the tenth Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday.
Despite the restrictions last year we saw over 100 stalls at our biggest event of the year and 2021 is looking to once again be a bumper year.
We would be delighted if any stalls or buskers would like to join us to help celebrate animals in Guernsey.
