This Sunday the GSPCA will be at a location to be released on Saturday where you can come and choose from 900 locally grown Christmas trees.
The Blue Spruces make fantastic festive trees and what better way to choose a tree fresher than any you may have had before.
We will also be selling a small selection on Saturday from our Market stall in St Peter Port and will have one on display at the Shelter from Friday.
On Sunday the GSPCA took a stall along to the Les Cotils Christmas Fayre where we managed to raise £250.
After a wet windy day out in the weather on the Saturday the team enjoyed the warmth of Les Cotils and not only saw hundreds of visitors we even saw Santa pop by.
With all sorts of Christmas gifts on sale and games to play lots was raised for the animals at the Shelter.
We would like to thank all that organised and supported what was a lovely day.
On Saturday the GSPCA joined the stall holders in Market Square on the terrace to raise funds for the animals at the Shelter.
With gale force winds, driving rain and a nip in the air the volunteers helping had to brave the elements.
On the stall was Molly a young beagle who was dressed as Mrs Claus and certainly stole the show and helped raise much of the funds raised.
The stall was well positioned and we got to watch the unveiling of the bronze donkeys and also Santa turning on the Christmas town lights.
Last week Ella Gidney and a group of her friends came along to the GSPCA for a Birthday guided tour.
Ella who has just turned 10 years of age got a very special behind the scenes tour with her friends at the Shelter in St Andrews.
On requests we will arrange a special tour for a minimum donation and last week Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager took the group around the site.
From seeing our resident tortoise to stroking Monkey a diabetic cat the girls all had a lovely evening.
