In the heart of the Kings Premier Health Club, Pelicans@Kings offers great food, drink, snacks, coffee and more throughout the opening hours of the club.
This week the team at Pelicans@Kings are supporting the GSPCA Purple Week celebrating 142 years helping animals in Guernsey.
From their team wearing GSPCA logo'd tops to selling GSPCA merchandise and lucky dip bags the money raised will help the hundreds of animals at the Shelter in St Andrews.
Come and join the Mad Hatter calling the bingo numbers this Wednesday for GSPCA Purple Week.
On Wednesday 11th February to celebrate our 142nd anniversary during GSPCA Purple Week we will be holding an Alice in Wonderland themed bingo night at the Market Bistro.
Each of the Bingo nights are £14.50 per person or £10.50 for children. They start at 7pm and for the price it includes Food and 8 Games of Bingo.
Fancy dress and bringing a musical instrument is optional, but encouraged.
This week the GSPCA Purple Week celebrates 142 years helping animals in Guernsey.
We have a number of events throughout the week and on Tuesday 10th February at 6.30pm you can join the second volunteer induction evening of 2015.
We are always looking for volunteers to help at the Shelter in a variety of roles.

The GSPCA would like to thank a very kind and brave young lady.
Ailsa Duncan age 10 raised a fantastic £51 through sponsorship after taking a very cold dip in the sea.
As many adults and some youngsters brave the sea on Christmas Day, Ailsa aged 10 took the opportunity to combine a brave act with raising funds to help animals in Guernsey by doing the Polar Bear Swim.
After the success of the 5 bingo nights during 2014 the GSPCA are proud to present a full year of bingo nights.
The first has an Australian theme as on Monday the 26th January as it is Australia Day and the second will be during GSPCA Purple Week with a birthday Alice in Wonderland theme to celebrate our 142nd anniversary.

The GSPCA was founded in 1873 and to help celebrate 142 years caring for animals in Guernsey we are asking for your help.
There are many ways you, your school, group, work place, business can help celebrate.
The GSPCA week starts 9th February and celebrations will carry on until the 15th with our anniversary being Valentines Day the 14th February.
Ideas to get involved.......
Tomorrow pupils and teachers from St Andrews Primary School will be doing their bit for the GSPCA Purple Week on what is the charities 141st birthday.
Not only will pupils and teachers be buying GSPCA purple wrist bands and having a mufti day ,they are also going to have a few special visitors but ssshhhhh don't tell the children!
Tomorrow afternoon GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne will be taking a few of the residents along to the school for them to meet.
On Thursday the GSPCA will be celebrating 141 years helping animals in Guernsey.
All this week we are asking businesses, schools and individuals to help celebrate with a Purple Week theme.
From wearing purple to work through for a mufti day to buying a GSPCA Purple Wrist Band there are lots of ways to support us this week.
Staff at the GSPCA next month will be doing their bit to raise funds for our 141st birthday and what we call GSPCA Purple Week.
Between the 10th and 16th February we'd love to invite everyone to get involved with raising funds for the Shelter with a purple theme.
Shelter staff Helen Holmes, Helen Sharman, Anna Paint, Annie Janes, Lucy Ogier and Sheryl Carre are taking the purple theme to their heads and will be dying their hair purple.
