With less than 2 weeks to go, the GSPCA are busy preparing for the tenth Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday.
Despite the restrictions last year we saw over 100 stalls at our biggest event of the year and 2021 is looking to once again be a bumper year.
We would be delighted if any stalls or buskers would like to join us to help celebrate animals in Guernsey.
As part of our 10th Seafront Sunday we are inviting you to join in our Animal Olympic Obstacle course, with a chance to win two return tickets to Alderney; courtesy of Aurigny Airlines (for the adults) and two Outdoor Guernsey vouchers (for any children aged 12 and under).
So how do you take part?
Meet our team at the Crown Pier arena at 1.30pm, pop a small donation in our charity bucket and choose which animal costume to wear during your attempt to BEE the best around our fun course.
This Sunday the GSPCA will once again be on the Seafront for the third EDABL Seafront Sunday and fifth of the year taking place in St Peter Port.
This Sunday from 10am till 4pm the GSPCA are delighted to say we will be joining the EDABL Seafront Sunday to raise much needed funds and promote the work of the Animal Shelter.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We always have great fun at the Seafront Sundays and not only are we looking forward to this weekend, we are appealing for volunteers to help at the second EDABL Seafront Sunday on the 25th July."
The Guernsey Motor Festival is an annual event for the Island, that will be taking place this weekend on Sunday 11th July 2021.
This exciting event is jointly organised by the Guernsey Motor Cycle & Car Club LBG, the Guernsey Kart & Motor Club LBG and the Guernsey Autocross Club.
The Seafront of St Peter Port will be closed from the Town Church to the Weighbridge roundabout, and expect to see a wide array of motorsport, specialist and road going vehicles. There will be displays from a wide range of local clubs to include the following:-

On Sunday 31st May the GSPCA was out for the first of the Summers events.
The EDABL Seafront Sunday was just the first of many events you can see the GSPCA at in the coming weeks.

Thanks once again to the #GuernseyTogether spirit the 2021 Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday will be the tenth and takes place on Sunday 12th September.
We had planned to hold it in May but as with the reasons given for the Liberation Day celebration alterations the GSPCA have taken the decision to move from May to September.
On the 12th September 2021 10am to 4pm the GSPCA will once again be organising a day to celebrate the animals in Guernsey and all the wonderful work that is done to care for them.
Once again there will be a fun dog show at the Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday.
Judging starts at 1230pm with registration from 11am with the show ring located on the Crown Pier.
This is always a fabulous, fun, highlight of this special day and is open to any breed of dog.

Next Sunday (13th September) if you can help volunteer or have a vehicle you could help us transport goods we would love to hear from you.
We are planning to pack a number of vans in preparation this Friday ready to drive down for our Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday from 7am.
If you could lend a van, especially a luton or large transit we would really appreciate it.
Every year it is a huge logistical challenge to transport the many tents, goods and animals from the GSPCA into St Peter Port.
