All we want for Christmas is to find Betty a home.
At the GSPCA we do not promote pets as presents but we are looking to find Betty that very special someone.
Betty is an amazing English Bull Terrier, bouncy, energetic and a really silly dog. She is a typical Bully and tends to go through things; acting first and thinking later.
Don't forget Guernsey grown Christmas Trees are on sale in the ground on sale today between 2pm and 4.30pm.
Mr and Mrs Le Page with their son Russell popped along this week to cut fresh from the field this lovely Christmas tree that they have called Arthur.
Every day this week including today between 2pm and 4.30pm you can come into the privately owned field and chose your very own local Christmas tree.

This is your opportunity to give a gift of or for you to visit behind the scenes at our Animal Shelter in St Andrews and see the work being carried out for the new build.
Between Christmas and New Years Day we are running guided tours around the Animal Shelter and have gift certificates that can be collected from the reception desk for those wanting to give a tour as a present.
We are arranging the guided tours on a series of dates at 2pm and there will be many set soon throughout 2017.
Today marked a huge step and milestone in the history of the GSPCA as our New Multi Purpose Animal Welfare Building was officially opened.
Over 70 volunteers, staff, Build Partners, key supporters, Deputies, and VIP's attended the official opening which took place on Wednesday 27th July 2016 at 2pm.
The reception started at 1.15pm and we must say thank you to Mr and Mrs Naftel for allowing us the use of the field to park the many vehicles.
Today at the GSPCA the first hot coffee was sold to Helen Holmes one of the staff at the Animal Shelter as we launched our new hot drinks machine.
A selection of hot drinks are now on sale at the reception area of the GSPCA between 9am and 5pm Monday to Saturday, we are closed on Bank Holidays and Sundays.
Drinks include coffee, latte, mocha, cappuccino, tea and we will soon have hot soup varieties all for just £2 each.

Last week during half term we ran a series of guided tours that proved so popular additional tours had to be added.
Every tour was a sell out and on Thursday and Friday due to demand we doubled up with over 40 attending each day.
The groups got to see Slovakian puppies to kittens, chicks to hoglets, tortoise to bunnies and much more.
During the school breaks we run a series of guided tours at the GSPCA and we have now planned for 2016 with some special tours for the children.
