This year the GSPCA Flag Day has taken place in two halves in the Summer and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved from Michelle Champion who organised the days, all that collected including many pets, the locations for allowing us to collect and of course to all that donated.
The main part of the Flag Day took place on the 19th August and all around Guernsey you could see our fantastic volunteers and collectors as well as the many supporters that donated sporting their GSPCA flag day stickers.
Between the two days, the man locations and all of the volunteers just over £2000 was raised and we are so grateful to every penny donated to help the many animals at the GSPCA.
We are always looking for volunteers and helpers to collect and help at events and if you would like to help fund raise with us this year please do let Michelle know on 257261, pop in or email [email protected]
From those that dressed up as giant animals to the four legged friends that helped from all of the 550+ animals and team at the GSPCA we are so grateful to all involved, helped and donated.

“It was so lovely to see so many volunteers dressed as animals collecting as well as a few dogs that got involved too.”
“When I’m not organising the flag day you can often see me helping run the on-site GSPCA Charity Shop which is open Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm and on a Sunday 11am to 4pm.”
“The Charity Shop not only has lots of great bargains but also has a selection of refreshments on sale and a seating area where you can watch and see some of the cats looking for new and loving homes.”
