Last month the GSPCA joined in with the fantastic annual Torteval Scarecrow Festival.
This was the third year we have been allowed to join this wonderful family Guernsey event which is held in high esteem by so many.
In previous years the GSPCA focused their scarecrow display on Jessie the beagle, Olivia the turtle, the 25 Slovakian puppies, seal pups and other popular stories that have come from the Animal Shelter.
This years GSPCA entry headed by Seb Goman and helped by many of the team was called Glitz, Glamour and Poop in a year was the GSPCA have been humbled after receiving a number of awards locally and internationally for the work carried out 24/7.
Seb Goman GSPCA Animal Care Assistant said "We had great fun with our GSPCA Torteval Scarecrow entry and added a bit of education with a display on the dangers to hedgehogs in Guernsey."
"We are already thinking of ideas for next year and thank you to the organisors and Mr and Mrs MacIntyre for letting us enter this amazing event."
