Yesterday the GSPCA team were joined by 5 volunteers from  Northern Trust who gave up a day in the office to help the team paint, decorate and other work at the Animal Shelter in St Andrews.

KPMG help decorate the new multi purpose animal welfare building

Yesterday once again at the GSPCA we were lucky enough to have help from KPMG staff for the fourth year in a row.The team of 8 staff from KPMG arrived at 9am where after a short induction were set to work painting an area of the new build we have been unable complete due to funds.

Peter the young kestrel rescued, reared, rung and released

On the 26th June a very young, starving kestrel was found on a road in St Peters.With no mother in site and traffic back and forth the bird was rescued and brought to the GSPCA in St Andrews.He was placed in an intensive care unit and still had much of his down and not fully feathered due to his...
