Now in their seventh year, the 2019 Ceva Animal Welfare Awards recognise the achievements and outstanding commitment of the remarkable volunteers, charity workers and veterinary professionals who have dedicated their lives to improving animal health and welfare here in the UK and around the world.
In 2017 a team of GSPCA staff and volunteers were flown over for the awards as the team were bestowed with the Special International Animal Welfare Recognition award and in 2015 local vet and GSPCA President was honoured with the Chris Laurence Vet of the Year Award.
This years categories include:
- Chris Laurence vet of the year
- Vet nurse of the year
- Charitable contribution of the year
- International Cat Care welfare of the year
- Farmer of the year
- Farm educator of the year
- Outstanding contribution to animal welfare
The awards take place on Wednesday 3 April 2019 and will be judged by a panel of respected industry professionals including Christopher Laurence MBE BVSc.
Entries must be in by 25th January 2019.
