Kenya has been with us since the 10th July 2013 and is now our longest stay cat in need of a home as we recently rehomed Mitzi.

Kenya originally was a very nervous cat when he first arrived at the GSPCA and did not always show himself well to people he didn't know.

Kenya now has got to know quite a few different people, which has made his confidence blossom and helped him realise that there are lots of nice people in the world.

Kenya needs a quiet home only as an only pet and is also not good with children (he still finds them very scary).

He just loves to sit on your lap and loves being made a fuss of and would make a great companion.

Anna Paint Senior Animal Care Assistant said "Kenya arrived at the GSPCA in July 2013 and was really nervous at first."

"The team at the GSPCA have spent a lot of time helping bring him around and we would love to find him that perfect home."

"Kenya has many favourite toys at the Shelter and we are always making him things to play with and do."

"We would love to hear from you if you think you could help our wonderful Kenya."

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "Every year at the GSPCA we help nervous cats, but sadly the older they are the harder it is to find them a home."

"It was wonderful to rehome Mitzi are longest stay cat recently which has now made Kenya a black and white 7 year old cat the longest stay animal in need of a home at the Shelter."

"There are many other animals in need of a home at the GSPCA and if you could help any we would love to hear from you."

If you could help Kenya find that forever home please call us on 01481 257261 or see our cat rehoming procedure by clicking here.
