On Sunday 31st May the GSPCA was out for the first of the Summers events.
The EDABL Seafront Sunday was just the first of many events you can see the GSPCA at in the coming weeks.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “We can a lovely day at the EDABL Seafront Sunday raising hundreds of pounds and promoting our work.”
“After the second lock down it was lovely to see so many supporters and a huge thanks to Leighton, Joseph and Dylan for the help running the stall.”
“We have lots of events upcoming and really need help.”
“Every event doesn’t only raise much needed funds during these difficult times but gives us an amazing opportunity to talk about our 24/7 work and promote our services and occasionally help animals from our stall from providing fresh water to dogs walking past to the occasional sick or injured animal is brought to us.”
“Also this summer we are planning a Flag day and anyone able to help with any events please do let us know by emailing me us via [email protected] or call 257261 .”

Steve continued “There are many ways you can help support our vital 24/7 work and donate or raise funds for the hundreds of animals in our care.”
“With over 140 hedgehogs, 4 seal pups, dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, fish, reptiles and many birds we help over 3000 animals through the doors every year.”
